The Grey Bears The Grey Bears are located at 2710 Chanticleer Avenue.  Membership is open to anyone over 55 for $20 a year.  Grey Bears is the largest private recycler in the county, and provides volunteer opportunities for seniors.  For more information call Barbara Davis at 479-1055. The Ecological Reserve The Ecological Reserve is owned and managed by the California Department of Fish and Game.  Our local docent coordinator is Val Haley, a professional botanist, who has volunteered her time and energy since 1993.  Please call her with your questions at 425-1587.  Val welcomes volunteers on the last Saturday of every month at 11:00 am for work day to maintain trails and the reserve.
