FELTON LIBRARY FRIENDS
CHILDREN'S SUMMER PROGRAMS

Tuesdays, 1:30-2:30
Felton Library Backyard

Felton Library Friends will host seven summer programs for children from June 15 to July 27.
Refreshments will be provided by the Tuesday Felton Farmer's Market.
The programs, produced in partnership with the Santa Cruz Public Libraries Summer Reading Program, are intended to promote early literacy and to encourage families to use the library.
Interactive educational entertainment includes the Great Blindini's magic tricks, Tales and Trails storytellers from New Mexico, Zun Zun's interactive music show, PT Puppets, and The Singing Scientist.
Crafts programs are Make Your Own Books and Food Matters.

June 29, 2010: Tales and Trails storytellers Bob Kanegis and Liz Mangual, from New Mexico.

July 06, 2010: Zun Zun, popular local performers, with an interactive musical show about watersheds.

July 13, 2010: PT Puppets perform The Ugly Duckling, set to the music of Camille Saint-Saens.

July 20, 2010: The Singing Scientist, Peter Weiss, PhD, with songs and bedazzling science experiments.

July 27, 2010: "Make Your Own Books" with Marilyn Robertson-a creative hands-on workshop.

This wonderful book is still available.  A "must have" for new and old Dooner's alike.  The Ladies of Bonny Doon Club produced this book in 2004.  Many Bonny Dooners contributed stories, pictures, and editing skills.
