Friday, May 1 [SPECIAL BOARD MEETING DATE]
6:00 pm: [SPECIAL BOARD MEETING TIME]
Bonny Doon Volunteer Fire/Rescue Board of Directors Meeting
Meet at the McDermott Station at the intersection of Empire Grade and Felton Empire Grade.
This is the annual Board position nomination meeting, where anyone in the community can declare their desire
to be considered for one of three two-year seats, helping guide the Fire Team during this exciting and
challenging time.
The only qualification is a desire to serve your community, and additionally, you have to be at the meeting
on Friday May 1 at 6 PM to accept a nomination.
We, the current Board, encourage anyone in the community to attend, watch us in action, and then make the
decision as to your desire to be on the Board.
The election, if there are more than three nominees, will take place at the June Board meeting, where you
will also need to attend, and team members will cast their votes.
See you at the May 1 meeting.

Rural Bonny Doon Association Update
First of all, we'd like to thank the many Dooners who responded to our plea last month by so generously
joining, renewing their membership in, sponsoring, and donating to the Rural Bonny Doon Association. We now
have enough money in the bank to continue publishing the Highlander and holding informative and timely
meetings open to all at Bonny Doon Elementary School bi-monthly for another year.
We're beginning to cast about for presentations for our May general meeting. Please let us know what you'd
like to learn about.
Please note our New Address: RBDA, PO Box 551, Felton, CA 95018.
