Pineridge Neighborhood Fire Safe Council: CHIPPING DAYS
The Pineridge Neighborhood Fire Safe Council had its formation meetings in early October of 2005.  Our goals include helping homeowners improve defensible space around their homes, and creation of better road clearance for emergency vehicles.  The group plans to meet each fall and spring for this ongoing project as well as other fire safey issues.  We invite all neighbors within and bordering the area to join in this community effort.  For information call 459-8930 or email PineridgeFSC@aol.com.

Found Cat
A cat was found in the Country Estates area of Bonny Doon.  It is beige and white with a touch of orange in the ears and tail.  It appears to be a young cat as an older one would not have survived it's two to three month ordeal.  It is medium size and really friendly.  Loves to be petted and held.  It is currently residing at the Scotts Valley Animal control office.
