Welcome to the Community Website for
Bonny Doon, California

Bonny Doon Elementary School campus experienced vandalism Thursday evening.  The yellow bus had three windows shattered and attempts were made to shatter more of the windows on the bus.  The vandals also let all the air out of the tires on the van.  If anyone in the community has information regarding this vandalism either contact Deputy Hop at 471-1121 or the school at 427-2300.

If anyone in the community is passing the school campus after hours and they notice individuals on campus engaged in what appears to be behavior that would cause damage to the school please contact the sheriffs office.  Our campus is somewhat isolated and attractive to individuals looking to "have fun" and it is often damaging to our property.  We implore members of the community to help us stop this type of destructive behavior.  I thank the community for all support to eliminate the periodic damage we have experienced on our campus.

The Bonny Doon Babysitting Co-op/Parents Club
The co-op is reinventing itself.  Monthly pot-lucks were a bit too much for our busy Bonny Doon families.  However, having a directory of other Bonny Doon families is extremely important for establishing play dates or the original purpose of the co-op, exchanging babysitting services.  There are a lot of new families in Bonny Doon and it is sometimes hard meeting neighbors.  Please contact Aleene if you would like a directory of other Bonny Doon families and/or wish to be listed in the co-op directory, aleene10@comcast.net or 458-5238.
