Saturday, September 23 4 to 8pm: FIRE TEAM BARBEQUE: At the Martin Road Firehouse, 975 Martin Road. Call 426-7933 for more information. Proceeds from Fire Team fundraisers are always used to buy, maintain, and/or replace vital emergency equipment.  Community support and donations equip our all-volunteer Fire Team to provide far better emergency responses than Bonny Doon would otherwise receive.  This is the basic reason the Fire Team exists. Attending Fire Team fundraisers is your opportunity to show the twenty-some Fire Team members you appreciate their considerable volunteer efforts training and protecting all of Bonny Doon 24 hours a day all year long.  The Firefighters are the ones wearing navy-blue t-shirts at the BBQ.  Come and enjoy great food with family, friends, and neighbors. If you would like to help by volunteering to work a couple of hours, call Stephanie at 426-9408.  To donate a Raffle item, also call Stephanie. Saturday, September 30 11:00 am Ecological Reserve Volunteer Day Meet by the old firehouse on Martin Road.  We will be doing trail maintenance on the Outer Loop Trail.  Please bring hiking shoes, water, snack, and loppers for trimming back the shrubs growing along the trail.
